Hi! We just arrived from the states this week and are currently staying in a hotel. It looks like my husband's job is going to get us a serviced apartment in the Parkview HK. Does anyone have any pros/cons about Parkview? The facilities seem fantasic, but it does seem it may be inconvienent to go into Central, etc. Thanks for your thought!

Hi there, I used to work at the school at Parkview and my daughter still attends. We are members of the resort. The facilities are great. There are lots of North American families amongst the other very varied international residents there. I have always found everyone very welcoming and it has a family friendly vibe. However it is quite a bit away but from central but Happy Valley is close and has lots of amenities too..as is Causeway Bay. Good Luck

I have lived at Parkview for a year and a half. I love it! I love having the grocery store across the street and the facilities. I have a baby and it makes my life so much easier. Sure its not in central, but I don't find it hard to get to central from here. We have the bus and it's also a short taxi ride. In my opinion, it is the perfect distance. Not too far, but far enough to feel out of the chaos.

Thanks for your thoughts. We did decide to move into Parkview and so far we really enjoy it. I love the playgrounds and I agree having the grocery store nearby makes things so easy. I'm not sure how old your baby is, my son is 19mos. If you ever want to meet up sometime, let me know.
