Moving from Australia to HK in Dec/Jan. We have looked at the end at Discovery Bay, Repulse Bay and Stanley, but seem to be coming back to The Peak as a place to live given it's proximity to Central and schools (looking at Woodlands and the Peak ESF).
I would love to hear from any residents at The Peak? What is the pollution like? Any apartment buildings you would recommend up to $85,000HKD month? Been looking at 1 Platation rd and Knightsbridge court.
We have a three year old daughter and a dog, so conscious of open space (even if only small!), access to schooling, and close proximity for my husband who needs to commute to Mong Kok for work. We loved Discovery Bay but just worked out to be too much travel time for my husband and planning another baby so the ferry ride in labour issue concerned me somewhat!
Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
