Second hand Legos are usually hard to come by. If you're in Wanchai market, you will find something similar.

Hi Geomum

This won't be of any help for 9 months or so, but at the West Island School Fair, every year they have a "gently used toys" stall and for the past four years there have always been a few bags of Lego for massively reduced prices.
If any of the other schools are having fairs in the next few months, you might want to call and check if they will be having a similar stall and give it a try.
Sorry I can't think of anything else at the moment.
