Hi, We may be moving to HK in September. My currently 2.5 year old son is going to a British pre school 3 times a week at the moment. I need any tip or advice of any good British pre school in HK and how to apply. I heard some horror stories about interviewing, exam and all. I hope it doesn't apply to every school???? We don't want to go heavy on acadamic aspect as the purpose of sending our son to pre school is for him to enjoy himself. We are open to living anywhere that has a good school for him.

ESF Kindergarten perhaps? If your son turns 3 in 2010, then he's eligible to go in to K1 this August. Have a look at their website - they have several locations. It's a play based programme.

Does he have to go through the interview process? I'm a bit concerned about that.

How about looking at one of the Woodlands Pre-Schools? They are accredited by the the Pre-School Learning Alliance (London) and follow the UK National Curriculum. Best of all - no interview required.

Tutor Time on Caine Road might be good too. ESF Kindy interview is just play based too - nothing stressful. Good luck!
