| Why did you choose IMS? Did you choose it over another school or you applied for several and that was the first one to come back? How far does your child travel to go to the shcool? Are you happy with the school? Will you keep the child in the school for primary (if they are currently not)? Many thanks for sharing. Generally why did you choose the school? I know all about the benefits and Monte program so I am really after specific feedback about this one school. |

| I understand that IMS is the only primary school. I am hoping that any one of the students parents might be able to help me with some feedback. The school grounds are small and not very appeasing, the school is also very small. I want to know how parents find it. |

| My daughter studied in IMS since 18 months. Now she is 4 years old. We and daughter like IMS very much. IMS has good bilingual education and a diversity of peers. We choose IMS because the philosophy of Montessri is suitable for early child development. It takes about 30 minutes for her to the school (she is now taking the school bus). However, we may not keep our daughter to Primary because we need to consider the continuity to secondary school for her. Thus, we may take other through-train IS. But final decision hasn't yet made. Heard that IMS will have a permanent site in Hong Kong island (not yet confirmed). We have met the school a few weeks ago and has discussed the option of staying at IMS to primary. | Thank you zhangbaba. I was concerned with this also but the yearly alignment with IB has satisfied my concerns in this regard. It appears fine if everything is fine but I wonder what happens if, down the track, the child needs help in some way or the other which is not the 'norm'... |

Did you finally send your children to IMS primary? I am thinking to send my children there (grade 1 and 2). Can you please give me some of your insights? Thanks. |

| I am also looking for specific feedback about IMS primary. My daughter has been in a wonderful Montessori preschool since 2 y 4 months and she is now four. She learns so much from school and the teacher is so caring that I really want to send her to a montessori primary. She is now learning 3-digit addition! I toured IMS kindy section 3 times before. Teachers' attitude seem to vary greatly, so depends on which class the child is placed. I wasn't so impressed with the principal (is her name Anne or something?) either. I have toured their primary school already, but it is hard to tell the quality of the teachers just by standing outside the classroom for 5 minutes and not being able to talk to the kids and teachers. I have heard that they may be having one more primary class (now 3) this coming fall? Any elementary parents can share their views? |
